Charter Management/Education
The school has written policies for its educational program that are subject to constant review. The policy documents are available for parents to borrow, read and comment upon.
Parent input to these policies and programs takes place primarily through the education committee where the membership or attendance is open to any parent at any time. Notice of Charter/Education committee meetings are included in Capers.

Finance
This committee monitors financial operations and is responsible for drafting the annual budget and maintaining an overview of the needs of the school and the priority of these needs.

Promotions
As the name suggests, the committee has the responsibility of projecting the good image of our school in the community, with a major role being to provide information about our school to prospective parents. This committee is responsible for the school website. The committee is also concerned with aspects of communication within the school as well as the community. Our weekly newsletter "Cape Street Capers" is sent home with the youngest child in each family. The newsletter aims to keep parents well informed. We ask you to read it regularly and maybe keep a file that can be referred to when required. At times, replies are requested. It is hoped that parents will co-operate and always return the reply slip when required.

Facilities, Buildings, Grounds & Pool
These two committees are closely linked and see to the maintenance of our very fine school facilities. The committees organise working bees. The working bees involve either a specific project or a general clean-up and a number of specific maintenance tasks. We are proud of the general appearance of our school and the feeling of well being that this helps to create. An hour or two from a good representation of parents can achieve a great deal.

Trading Operations
This committee deals with the operation of the canteen and school uniform issues.

Outside School Hours Care Program
Responsible for the effective operation of the Outside School Hours Program.
